The Cancer New Moon & the Nodal shift to the Aries/Libra axis

On Monday, the New Moon in Cancer asked us to reconnect with our inner world, our emotions and the place we call home.

Like the crab who carries its home on its back, the Cancer Moon is calling us home to ourselves, to our soul callings, our heart desires and to grounding us in to what is true for us. The reason being...

Just two hours after the new moon, the lunar nodes shifted from the Taurus/Scorpio axis - where they have been playing for the last few months - and have now moved into the Aries/Libra axis where they will stay until January 2025.

What does this mean for us as a collective?

We're collectively being called into the Aries North Node energy; no more playing the good girl character or waiting for the universe to send you a whisper of wisdom, Aries is asking us to step up as the main character, to go first, to boldly and proudly live out loud and express our hearts desires.

To do this, we have to leave behind the comfort zone, our collective Libra South Node, who wants to be liked and encouraged by everyone that they're doing the right thing. Going first can sometimes mean going alone, which is scary, but if we can summon the courage to take that step, the rest will follow.

So close your eyes, take a deep breath and picture your boldest, brightest self shining out into the world with your unique gifts, talents, values. How does that look? And more importantly, how does that feel?

We have 18 months to work with this energy, so it's worth really taking the time to consider your values, your purpose, and what might you need to release to get to that shining, bright version of you? It could be a mindset shift, the release of negative self talk and playing small, or it could be the release of people and relationships that are holding you back. Since the south node is in Libra, relationships are highlighted, which doesn't mean that we have to callously cut people out, but as we evolve into the next version of ourselves, we might be seeking more time with aligned souls.

Some journal / visualisation prompts to ponder as we enter this new phase:

- What does the best version of you look like? Who is she surrounded by, what is she doing and how does she feel?

- Which relationships in your life leave you feeling uplifted, supported, like you are the best version of you? And which don't?

- Where do you rely on others for validation, confirmation and guidance? And does that ever conflict with what you truly want/need/desire?
