Saturday SUP Yin Yoga

After the success of the July event, we’re heading back to the waves this September for another Yin Yoga practice on the SUP Spot Paddle Boards.

I'll be guiding a grounding and cooling yin yoga practice on the SUP boards. We'll paddle out to a quiet cove, anchor ourselves together and then anchor into our bodies and breath.

This class is open to all levels, we'll save the balancing and standing postures for when we're on dry land and instead move softly and slowly through a gentle class on the boards.

Once in a Blue Moon

(In-Person) Thursday 31st August, Espigo Bogatell

7:30-10pm

Join me, Sam and Angela under the light of the Blue Moon in Pisces as we take you on a journey of releasing.

Sam will open up the circle with some astrological insights and then I’ll drop us into our bodies as we dive deep into our lunar yin yoga practice. Angela will take us even deeper into ourselves as the waves of her crystal sound healing bowls wash over us.

As we begin to awaken, la Luna will be at her peak in the sky & we’ll invite you to join us in the waves as we wash away anything that remains, leaving us as we are meant, to simply be.

This will be a magical, moon-lit evening of connection to self, to each other and to Mother Nature herself.

Tickets are €25 / €30 for a magic ticket (includes 0.5g of psilocybin)

Monthly Full Moon Gatherings

(Online) Thursday 18th November, Full Moon in Taurus - Lunar Yin Yoga

7:30-8:30pm CET from the comfort of your casa (€7.50)

The Full Moon gatherings are a time to pause, check in and connect with other moon goddesses who are exploring their own connections to La Luna Llena.

This Full Moon falls in the sensual, earthy sign of Taurus. A fixed sign represented by the Bull, the energy of this moon is calling us to figure out what is real, what is lasting, secure and grounding, so that we can create a sense of feeling at home within ourselves even when everything around us is changing.

And change is certainly going to be expected as this full moon is a partial lunar eclipse - the first in a series of eclipses on the Taurus/Scorpio axis that will set the tone for the next two years.

To help ground you, join me for some deeply relaxing Yin Yoga class whilst I share with you some wisdom from the Full Moon Eclipse.

Cooling the Nervous System / Putting out those imaginary fires

Monday 16th August 7:30-9:30pm CEST

FIRE!! We spend so much of our lives living in our sympathetic nervous system, fighting or fleeing from imaginary fires in our work life, in our relationships and in the world around us. Our bodies have become so used to this state of stress that we find it difficult to down-regulate and drop back into our parasympathetic nervous system where we are able to rest, digest, conserve our energy and make thoughtful, considered choices rather than merely reacting to the next perceived threat.

During this two hour workshop, we will guide you through a short introduction to the nervous system and the role it plays in our everyday lives. We'll practice a 1-hour yin yoga class where I'll guide you into this more restful state so that you can pause and stay a while, noticing how the body and breath become more harmonious when they feel safe to relax and recuperate.

Once you've experienced firsthand how it feels to be in this peaceful place, Izzy will guide you through some gentle, explorative art making. We’ll make space to express the messages of our bodies, and learn some creative tools to calm the nervous system and soothe the soul.

What you’ll need:

Yoga mat & comfy clothes

Art materials: No experience necessary. You’ll need one of the following: coloured pens, pencils, crayons, paints, pastels or collage materials

Wild Workouts with Holly & Lauren: Part 3

Save the date: October 2nd

Join Holly (Personal Trainer & Nutritionist) and Lauren (Yoga & Meditation teacher) for our third wandering in the wild. We'll head out of town for a morning of wild yoga, hiking, dancing in the fresh sea air and then we’ll cool down with a swim in the deep blue (weather dependent). It’s the perfect way to move, connect and feel refreshed!

Clear the mind, breathe in the wild air and stretch it all out under the sunny skies.

We’ll finish at roughly 2pm where you’ll have the option to head back home on the train, or stay for the afternoon to soak up the sun’s rays.

Places are very limited as we want to make this an intimate event where you can truly enjoy the experience and get to know your fellow attendees.

Your train ticket is included in the price, but please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.

Yoga & Sri Lankan Brunch

Join me to move your body and wake up energetic pathways with a 1-hour Yin-Yang Yoga flow. We’ll then satisfy our souls (and our tastebuds) with Ceylon Affairs providing a delicious home-made Sri Lankan brunch including all the best flavours from the region with firm favourites; coconut pancakes (pictured), rotis and dahl.

After brunch, we’ll let our creative juices flow as we put ourselves at the centre of the page and collage what we want to draw in over the coming 6 months.

The yoga class is open to all levels and will include a mixture of slow flow vinyasa (suitable for beginners but with variations for more seasoned practitioners), and yin yoga.

All of the Sri Lankan food is vegetarian and can be made vegan / dairy-free.

All you need to bring is a yoga mat and a smile and to come wearing your movement outfit.

Places are very limited as we want to make this an intimate event where you can truly enjoy the experience and get to know your fellow yogis over brunch.

Yoga Foundations - Beginners Workshop

Are you curious about the practice of yoga but don’t know where to begin? Perhaps you feel intimidated walking into a yoga class for the first time, and want to feel more confident and safe in the yoga practice.

During this two-hour workshop we’ll dive into the fundamentals of the yoga vinyasa practice. We’ll practice correct breathing technique, breakdown some of the most common postures and learn some basics about why we practice yoga. We’ll then put all of this together into a gentle and playful flow that will leave you feeling uplifted yet relaxed.

Places are very limited as we want to make this an intimate event where you can truly enjoy the experience and get to know your fellow attendees, plus #COVID regulations!

We have mats & blocks at the studio, so all you need to do is wear some comfy clothes and enjoy this afternoon of yoga and relaxation!
