Sensitive Doesn’t Mean Small: On Courage, Risk & Being Highly Sensitive
There's a myth about sensitive people: That we’re risk averse.
That we choose safety over growth.
Ease over challenge.
Comfort over ambition.
And while there can be some truth in this — sensitive nervous systems do feel things more intensely, and high-stress situations can take more of a toll — it’s not the full picture.
Connection Without Overwhelm: Socialising as a Sensitive Person
A common misconception: being highly sensitive = being highly introverted
While this can indeed be the case, many sensitive people — myself included — enjoy connection deeply. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that a week without at least a few social interactions leaves me feeling lonely and a little low.
